Default Side Markers

i know this might be a stupid nooby question but how do u take out the side markers? the previous owner just decided to paint them white and i want to get rid of the paint all around. plz help thanks

pull back the plastic on the inside of the tire wells and there's 2 nuts that you take off. pretty simple to do

i did that and now i have access to it but there is something plugged into it, how do i take that out?

twist and pull, the bolts are 8mm sockets becareful not to lose them they are hard to find imo
