Question Adjustable Sway Bar End Links

Does anyone know of them for our cars? My front sway bar end links are putting a lot of tension on the LCA and preloading it from what I can see visually.

Yes, they are the right ones on there.

I know I could, but I don't WANT to make one - I would rather buy a set pre-done so all I need to do is adjust.

Surely with as stupid low as some of you are you've found a solution by now? I know you're eating up sway bar end links if you haven't...

You could probably even get some made for another car that would fit ours just fine. I'm thinking of trying out my friend's that he used to have on the rear of his tC. I'll let you guys know how they fit.

buy a set on ebay, get a sleeve from a metal shop, get a threaded rod and 8 nuts to match. cut your new links from the center shaft and weld the threaded rod to them. weld a nut to either end of the sleeve. thread your new setup together, and install on the car...

thats a lot of work and waste, you can buy rod ends on mcmastercar or fastenal and just buy the nuts, bolts and threaded rod.

check out rod ends here: http://www.fastenal.com/web/search/p...nd&Ntt=rod+end

I would use a female rod end and then just buy threaded rod and cut to length, or even better to use a stud to the correct size.

I thought we weren't supposed to use those type of joints, only automotive grade?

Anyone ever find out anything? For the rear I'm thinking about using the Blox honda kit, but what about the front?

Has anyone actually tried these? If so, how well do they fit? Any modifications needed?

what about these? im sure they could work for the rears as well. What you guys think?

http://store.driftmotion.com/static/i-bpm-202-09.php

EDIT: I just did a search on fleebay (ebay) "adjustable sway bar links" and there are tons of them out there for other cars and I am sure that you can find somthing that will work for the SC? Im interested in this as well. Let us know if anyone has bought a set for another car that fit the SC

OK found some specs for that blox kit. They dont look to bad at all just grease em up real good and I think it should be fine. I will messure mine out tonight (front and rears) and see if they will be compatable. For 36 bucks... couldnt hurt to give it a try right?

Specifications for the Blox adjustable links:

CENTER TO CENTER: 2.8” min; 3.5” max

BOLT SPEC: 10x1.5

BOLT LENGTH: 2.75 (bolt might be to long but you can replace that no prob.)
