An automatic car is not faster the only difference is when u turbo an automatic car its constantly spooling because it shifts tooo fast to let out all the air!..... My car has 391 000kms so about 270miles and my tranny is slipping besides I've had dreams of the 2jz Gte looool

go ballbearing leave the auto... youtube supra just for one example and the ones running 9s and under are all auto. even some of the slower ones still will die by an auto they know better then to change it... this is just my opinion im in no way trying to contradict u... for sure evryone loves the fun of driving stick but no one here can shift faster and smoother then an auto. "IMO"

fastest toyota/lexus auto cars run gm transmissions. Fully build auto from BL can still only make a sc go in the low 10s maybe high 9s but it cost $$ ,v160 is bullit proof. Its not that people hate its the choice you have to make once you get past 400-450rwhp.

true true... but not in every case. most of the supra ppl i hung out with back in the day had their factory one built... actually there are some threads on here of ppl that have built there auto tranny on an sc and state that there car is holding up great. But yea, where i used to work we built a 1300hp 1st gen eclipse and it had a gm tranny.

hey guys been haven't online in a while! ummm ya the v8 is cool and all but I'm stuck on the 2jz and i know with the set up i want the gas consumption will probably be similar to now with the v8. If my calculations are correct were paying about $4.60 a gallon ...F*c**in sucks!.. I'm not sure but i think rebuilding my V8 would damage me more than swapping a Jdm 2J
