I don't window tint would work well. It would be pretty difficult to tint it to with the curves and small space. I would suggest to get it clear coated to protect it from the sun if anything
Guys, I don't think you have to do anything to the Plexiglass. I just found the label that came with my Plexiglass and it appears to have UV protection:
I ended up sanding all the lines away on my headlights and polished them back to clear... took me a month for each headlight... this methods looks alot faster...I hate you
I would throw on a hefty layer of clear to take the fall for the uv. Even if the plexi is guaranteed, it can only help. That's the what clear is tho - uv protection. If nothing else you can easily sand and buff away any scratches or haze without digging into original material
