I'm sure you guys have compared it to the 300ZX, what made you pick the SC over that?

I really never liked the 300ZX, the only NISSAN i like is the 240SX and the new GTR.
No room to work under the hood of the 300zx same as infiniti J30.

after getting the car i found club lexus which was the worst possible thing that could happen lmao. now my car is 5 speed with black interior. ohh yeah and i convinced 2 of my friend to get sc's too

why would you compare a good product to a complete POS, those cars are terribly hard to work on, and very expensive to produce good power. Engine has to come out to do anything, especially turbo related. Only thing that is good about the 300zx is the rear end, very strong.

I actually liked the Legend Coupe more than the SC, always thought the SC had an egg shape lol anyway my first RWD turbo car was a 97 240 did SR swap etc. I started learning more about Supras etc... I actually wanted a MKIV but the prices were steep and I personally wanted more of a sleeper setup so the SC was the obvious choice. Sold my 240 and bought my SC bone stock from my boy T back in 04 rest is history.

Barely drive it? You put 20k in less than one year lol. I know the feeling though, I love driving my car. The only other car that I prefered to drive was my S2000 and only because it was a convertible.

I think that these are still one of the most beautiful cars on the road, the design is 20+ years old. Every time I park it, I always look back at my car. No other car has made me do that. Plus having a 5 speed is the icing on the cake.

True story:

I stock body of the SC never really appealed to me. I found the odd shape ugly. One day my brother mentioned the car to me and I checked out a 1992 with 110k miles gold on tan 5-speed. I passed it up because I wasn't sure. I did more research on these cars and saw one done up and it totally changed my mind. The next day that SC sold lol

i''ve been thru roughly 22 cars in my lifetime, most have been turbo and I've always wanted a mkiv or GTR but the prices are still hopeless. I moved to florida december 2005 and one night saw what i didnt know was an SC humiliate an 03/04 cobra on the road, and BAD! I was hooked.. lowered, staggered wheels, 97+ body or kit and when it blew by it sounded like a supra! LoL im still looking for who owns that car. Took me some months to figure out the supra and the SC share almost everything besides a body, so i was sold. I went thru 4 SCs to settle on the monster i've recently built and couldnt be any happier. I've tried to pick fights with a few porsche's, i rape the typical z06 and they all have that gaze.... Is that a Lexus badge? Priceless, I love my car.

i was always into ae86 but my dad just didnt like the fact of having a four cylinder after owning v8's all out through the years. so after about three weeks of dealing with a guy on craigslist and his 86 gts hatch my dad got fed up and took a sc300 home for a test drive. haha its a long story short i woke up while my dad was on his test drive to the horn took it around the blocked and loved it.. especailly that later that day i found that the 5 speeds were more rare

I always liked the look of the SC's so I spent some time looking for the cleanest low mileage SC400 I could find. I just sold my 600rwhp Z28 with a 6spd and it was not a friendly daily driver at all. Because my work now involves more driving I wanted a nice daily that was an automatic. The SC400 delivered so I pulled the trigger. I love driving this car. Not to mention you can put a few mods to them and make some decent power always appeals.

How'd you pull that off?

On topic: Chassis potential, V8, manual, fun, reliably fun.
