Grinding when turning sc400 1995

Default Grinding when turning sc400 1995

Im told that it is the rack and pinion needs to be replaced. Any other possible causes?

I made a post about this a few weeks ago. Mine does the same thing (I don't know exactly what your issue is but I'm guessing it's the same).

I'm going to rebuild my PS pump soon so I'll let you know if that fixes it. REbuild kit was like $10 ..much better than $160+ for a new pump.

yeah...bad/blown lower control arm ball joint could be blown. Causing it to rub on the rotor in a turn. Happened to me!
