Default Sounds like off road tires

Hey everybody! I've been browsing the site alot but I can't find a similar problem with mine..

Like the title says, my car sounds like its running on off road tires, mainly around 40mph when it gets really loud (bearable but noticeable)..

From what I got so far from the threads, I'm gonna try and change the tranny mount, and see what'd I get out of it, but I'm still not sure what the problem is that's why I'm posting..

And another thing I noticed, when I'm already engaged in Reverse then switch to Drive, and vice versa, there's a loud clacking sound from under the car. Or when I've just started the car and haven't warmed up the engine then I engage to Reverse going to Drive it also makes that sound...

After I use the car for a drive for like 30mins or so, it smells like burnt rubber or oil from under the car as well. And I've recently changed rear wheel bearings...

Please help!!!

If it ends up being that you might as well do an LSD while you're at it.

no; carrier bearing is on the drive shaft, where the front half and back half meet.
pretty common issue.
