if you went from automatic to manual the car will not start unless its connected. ever try and start your car in drive with the auto?.... well it wont.

now i have no clue what your need to connect but that could be the reason.

two wires down by the tranny need to be connected to together so ecu thinks its in neutral or park....do not make neutral safety active , you dont want to have to press the clutch to start the car.. although you are on stock clutch it still puts alot of stress on the crank and associated bearings
