Cant Pass 110mph!!!!!!!!
I didn't know USDM SC's had limiters? My SC has gone over 110 with no trouble at all. The same goes for my friend's LS400.
I know the 1JZ's only hits 110-112 MPH with the limiter. Supposedly, there's no limiter if you have a 5-speed.

Let me be the first to say that you are an idiot for testing out your cars' max speed on a public highway. God help anyone who happens to be in the way of your car when you lose control, not to mention you. If you want to see how fast you can take your car, go to the track where the only person you will kill is yourself.
Thanks for a the LAW updates guys but i am well aware of the speed limit. I am sure we dont do mods and swaps on our cars to go the speed limit,so stop acting like P_SSYs and answer my question.........................................Go fast or Go home.
So we flame him for even mentioning that he drove over 100mph, but when we see a video of a 1000hp supra or lambo racing on a highway we all drool?
In all seriousness, my SC can't drive over 70mph lol. It shakes horridly and I'm too lazy and cheap to figure out what it is.

Is it at redline at 110? Maybe it's not shifting into Overdrive? Is it the stock SC400 Diff? A swapped sc300 or supra diff will lower your top speed, and throw off your speedo.
My mostly stock SC400 will do 145 at least, its no limiter.

No not redline im about 4000-4300RPM.
with my old 1jz the limiter wouldnt let me sit at 110, it would let me get there and then back me down about 5 or 10 mph and then go back up. this doesnt sound like an ecu problem.
