I had been running my car with the MAF unplugged due to hesitation and things (i think it was an IACV valve bad) and had it running unplugged for about a month. it ran very smooth and rich..of course. but just wondering if this could have caused my ECU to go bad? i had to end up replacing my ECU after driving on the highway at about 80 and the car just shut off.

I had everything else checkd on the car at Toyota..not fixed..just looked at and it was fine..
