Default A/C Condenser questions

When I purchased my 1993 SC300 the condenser was bad. I went to buy a replacement from ropples radiator but noticed that it had 2 female ends(the condenser and the stem it connects to) I looked on ebay and found that all of them look like this. What am I missing to connect them?

Not entirely positive abut this but I have been doing research because I am yanking my dash for interior refurb and pan to replace the expansion valve on the condenser while it's accessible. So I believe that the expansion valve attaches where you are talking about. A new condenser would not come with N expansion valve most likely. Pull yours out and look at it.

Yeah I am a big dummy. Thats an evaporator in my hand. Not the condenser. My apologies. Let me know if you need me to take pictures of mine to help you out.
