quick help with gs400 rear end swap
trying to get my gs400 rear end into my 99 sc300 auto in preparation for the whole shebang(v160/gte), but it seems like my stock rear axles don't line up with the 2000 gs400 rear end. does anyone know what axles i'm going to need to make this work? i would appreciate any help at all.
thanks rage, that was it. got the diff out again, swapped companion flanges and threw that bad boy back on... only to find out the driveshaft flanges don't line up LOL.
but for future reference, companion flanges from the old diff need to be swapped out. if your like me and your just swapping the diff for the time being and your mating it up to the stock driveshaft, your going to have to swap the driveshaft flange as well. if your doing v160 at the same time i think you just keep the gs400 driveshaft flange and mate it right up to the driveshaft that fits the v160/tt rear end swap
