Hello guys its sad to say this almost have a tear in my eye. Yestersay I was driving down the highway. 70mph when a truck came across my lane 90degrees no brakes I hit it full on and. Slammed into a guard rail. At 50mph my car has over 10000 dollars in damage . I post pictures up later this week. I'm so sad about my sc400 id loved it. Obviously I can't fix it insurance totaled the car. So now I'm carless . As u know ill be parting her out so go to my sale thread. Help me out. I have no money for a car so help if u can. If u can't thnx. So long feloow sc dudes. I'm saying my farewell and goodbye for the last time . Thnx to all who helped me out. Andthnx to jdmmuscle for his major inspiration on my car. also forgot to mention this guy ran from the scene . so now the insurance wont pay for it. im screwd

Sorry to hear that man, people are so wreckless these days it is a shame. Good luck on your new car search. But I will keep an eye out in the classifieds for your stuff...

 

Good thing you walked away OK. Take the time to recover,who knows you will get other SC. Once you own one it stays in your blood. Good luck man.

 

Glad your ok...did the cops say its your fault? I would think the driver of the truck's insurance company would pay for the damage that was done.

 

If the cost of damage to fix the car is more than the car is worth (which it is in this case) then they will junk the car and send you a check for the cars value.

You can buy it back for real cheap (300$) and fix it yourself with the money they gave you, but then it will have a salvage title and you won't be able to sell it.

Agreed, you are alive and your car can be replaced. Sorry for the loss but it will all work out.
