I haven't bought gas in a few days, but I know the bottom of the line gas with ethanol is $3.49. I'm guessing premium is like $3.69 or $3.79 here in Oklahoma City. I almost don't want to drive back to Dallas just because I'd spend $70+ to get back there.

I've got a Saturn for a daily driver, but it has a vacuum leak that causes it to rev really high and waste gas. It's not doing much better than the SC, so I'd like to get something better.

Quote: I just want to know why is it rising all of a sudden? Come on people, dont blame it on the middle east, been there, done that.. They have been killing each other for thousands of years.. Whats the deal? How can we project the gallon of gas to be so high in the upcoming months? Then the oil companies have record profits for several quarters in a row? This aint making sense at all.
That's what I've been wondering for the past few years. It's ridiculous how high gas is right now. What they should do is quit relying on foreign oil. From what I've heard in school, Alaska has tons of resources for us to use, but they won't use them. I never understood why these oil companies are making so much money and the gas prices still stay high.

I wish cars ran on water. That would be so much cheaper.

80 or 90% of our oil comes from here in thr US. The oil in the M.E. getting shipped through the souez (spelling?) cannal supplies the rest of the world.

Saw 4.20 in Clairemont in SD, California. I swear the rental that Enterprise gave me while my car gets fixed is getting 12 mpg or something....terrible. Dodge Avenger FTW! Not..

$3.80 for premium here in Baldwin, WI... I'm looking into buying a R6, or Ninja for my daily commute to work this summer even though I'd rather be rockin' the SC...
