Not sure if you are in the market for this, but I should throw it in there.

GS high miles, but it looks very good. Local too.

2001 GS300 listed in Classifieds of this forum.

Yeah I understand where your at with the high mileage. My very first Lexus was a 2001 IS300 which I sold at 150,000 because I thought it was to many miles. I regret selling that car to this day. I see them for sale all the time now with 180,000-200,000 miles. The only problem I ever had with that car was the thermostat, everything else was like new. I wish now I would have kept it to see how many miles it could have gone without needing anything major. Oh well though. I think any car with over 200,000 is taking a risk, even if it is a Lexus. They have a lot of rubber components that are expensive to replace. Sure the engines and transmissions are bulletproof, but everything else isn't.

That's exactly where I'm at with it.... My focus (most reliable car I've ever owned) is doing well at 209,500 right now, but it's age is showing... My SVT Contour is dying a slow death of failing vacuum hoses, miscellaneous electroncially actuated valves, and brittle plastics / wiring that has absolutely made me hate working on cars (used to love it), the actual engine / trans are perfect still. I really don't want to go down that road again too much with the next one. The actual engine and trans on my 'tour are perfect, I'm just sick of nickel and dime repairs that come with a near 200k mile car.

Haha sorry I had to. I can't believe what people do to their cars. And the sad thing is someone will probably buy this thing for $5000 and think they scored. Oh how ignorant some people are.

lol well if the mileage was decent i can guarantee that car would sell.

These sc's are meant to have rims of no bigger than 20's imo.

I thinkl those are 24's---they look pretty bad and out of whack--just dont fit the theme well.

Is there a theme to that thing? Aside from perfectly good car that's been ruined...

lol yes they have pretty much ruined the car.

And i mean those rims dont flow well with the usual theme of the sc--which is luxury , style and class

I really don't get that whole "style".... I just don't..... The thing is, it's not cheap to do all that stuff.... I mean, yes they use cheap paint, but the tires alone and lift kits, it's not cheap.....and why?

yes thats what leads me to believe the mileage on that car is probably very high.

The rims, lift kit and paint job would cost a good chunk of that alone.

Why not save up and get what you truly want?
