manual engine harness in auto?

hey guys i believe the harness is toast off my 93 sc300 no im wondering, theres a good deal on a 94 manual harness would i have an issue since its from a manual

also there is plenty of 97 and up harnesses but i assume cause of the vvti and all that its a no no right?

You said it..

Guys with 5spd SC's do the same but vice versa(use auto harnesses and ecu's) with the 1JZ swaps so I dont see why it should be a problem. The harness to the trans is going to be different and some plugs may not plug in.

Yeah, 96+ is OBDII so its not going to be compatible. 98+ are VVTi models.
