lol i think everyone is scared to race you =D. one day my car will be as fast as yours =(

I normally get STIs/EVOs picking on me, anything without a turbo or not coming from the factory with 300hp+.. I dont even bother looking at them. They can rev all they want. Im not getting a ticket to run a CIVIC... Ill rather get a ticket running a GTR. Just to see how I could hang with anyone of them.

 

Everytime that happens to me I just laugh my *** off and waste em

Ok if u actually find this to be a problem.... don't race them if they just got some gay tint and cat back. However if its clean its prob fast. I used to have a del sol with 400 hp and power to weight in hondas is incredible. My buddy has a 700 hp 2.0 that he drives daily .. so just watch out for fast ones and cops. Ignore the stupid ones. They really just want to c what ur cars got. We all were young with a honda at some point.. grannit I'm only 20 lol. But really race at the track or try to. Sometimes just gotta street it tho its fun

 

I went to college up in Lowell, Ma which is mecca for ricers haha. I was in this kid's g35 going to subway when he tried to race an 01 civic and got spankked....I would still say only like 10% of civics out there are fast enough to beat our cars

 

they try but after the launch their to slow to catch up. i got spanked by a crossfire

 

only happened to me once, i just ignored it.

but now that i'm made my car pretty no one tries to race me, they just stare

 

I get a lot of civic trying to run me. I look at them laugh then then turn my head. I.have notice here all the civics with body kits fart can exhaust hid lights led ligts etc r not worth my time its only the ones that are all beat up with b18 swaps and b16 swaps that are fast but can't tell by looking at them

 

The tuner scene is different all across the country. Here in LA, the Honda scene is still around but has died down quite a bit with newer generations of tuners choosing different platforms to build upon. WRX, Lancers, 240sx, 350z, and gasp SC's. For every clean SC in LA, their are probably 20 junkers on the road

Most Honda's I come across usually give me the thumbs up at stop lights and ask me what turbo and fuel management I'm running and don't really bother me. If one does rev on me I don't even bother... a turbo civics power to weight ratio will destroy my 300whp SC. On the other hand, 350z and BMW 3 series drivers always provoke a friendly competition

To answer the original posters question... In stock form, SC's are slow and easy prey for modded Honda drivers. Of course if the Honda came across a heavily modded SC, the results would be different!

 

some of the guys around here with the honda's are modded turbo'd, custom exhaust, intake and i've still got a clean factory sc400 and still leave them sitting there before they even get a chance to get close to the rear bumper. im not actually racing them im just getting ahead of the traffic and still hitting the speed limit.

In West Texas, the big ***** now is the redneck battle-truck craze. Lubbock has about a quarter million people, and all these city kids think that the Powerstroke their daddy gave them is a damn F1 candidate. Black smokin' from lights to where you can't see for a sec, and generally being ***-hats. Here's my biggest beef:
Hon-duh's driving like clowns: annoying.
Jim-Bob Inbreeder III in his Cummins with a chip and stacks: 6K lb battering ram.
It's bad enough when a jackwagon in a Civic mows through a fence, but imagine being hit by some drunk hick in a farm diesel at 70+ MPH... The stupidity has gone from annoying to just *****ing dangerous beyond words.

BTW, I used to drive a CRX and also an F150 with a 351 BPU

 

it's not that bad here but these da's make me afraid to race them some times like their in a real life game of burnout revenge ready to check traffic and your *** if your ahead of them

 

It's to the point now where I'll see literally like 5 everyday to or from work... And I live like 15 minutes from work. The rice is finally dying down, thankfully.

The thing now is the fake fender vents you get at Autozone... Everything from Mercury Sables to 350Z's have these abominations plastered to the side... Ugh, there needs to be a process in place before you are allowed to modify your car, some people abuse their freedoms and make us all look like assclowns.
