***** I really wish I could speak from expierence. At one point I suspected my ECU, but found a couple of posts on here that alluded to the fact that if your CEl fires when you turn the key on than your ECU is communicating. It should stay on briefly after starting than go off. But I beelieve mine stays on if I leave the key in the ACC position. Ill go check right now.

Yep, with the key in just the on position my check engine light is on. As soon as I fire it up, it goes out. Thats what you are describing right.

Yeah I don't know man. Seems normal to me. I don't have any codes stored and it runs good.

Just a another update....

All is well and good in the SC community in my garage finally.

I have done the following things to determine one or more problems. I have cleaned the MAF, replaced TPS, inspected both caps, rotor button, wires, and plugs, pulled the throttle body and recleaned again, did the Fuel ECU bypass, lastly replaced all of the driver side fuel rail injector seals and rubber orings. The final results was a purring smooth running SC again. I think it was a combiantion of a dirty IAC and throttle body and TPS out of adjustment. It eventually ran little high on the initial idle, but now in all gears is silky smooth. It runs well again. Idle is 750. It does still show DTC code 31, which is the right front speed sensor, this was causing the trac, Check Engine light, and the Trac/Off to be lit. I have ordered another one and will delete that problem. Thats why my trac never worked properly according to the PDF file and the symptoms.

Let everyone know, keep everything clean and if you have a BFI as I do, keep an eye on the filter even more. If that makes any sense.

Thanks for everyones help on this. I will help any out if needed, or experiencing the same problems.
