Default Headlight Condensation

Hey guys, I have an issue with condensation in my headlights. I have searched and came up with a few options to take them apart and reseal them or to drill holes in them. I would like to drill the holes in the bottom of them rather then resealing them. Just wondering if anyone else had completed this and could give me a few pointers so I dont wreck the lights here are just a few pics of the good one vs the bad one

hmmmmm ive never heard of anyone drilling holes in the lights but ive seen alot of threeads about people taking the lights apart and re-sealing them.

I think that is the best way top go because u can also polish them while your at it ---inside and out.

good luck

Where theres water theres also dirt and water spots, you really should just open it up and clean it thoroughly and reseal it. I've got to do one of mine, I'm going to deline them while I have them open. The reseal method I've chosen is to use windshield adhesive, its water proof and seals better and longer than silicone. 3m makes it and its about 25 dollars for 15 feet of it, plenty to do all your lights and a few more peoples as well.

Did you check to see if the filter on the back of the housing is clogged? I had a condensation issue on one of mine took it out blew some air through the filter and it had some debris in there. No more issues and it's been through plenty of rain and washes.

Might want to try filling up a sink with water, dipping it in just deep enough so the seal is submerged, and see if it leaks into the housing. I wouldn't leave it in for long though, just checking if the seal is bad.

Well I decided to take it off and clean it, the inside was not to bad but there was still watermarks. Cleaned the projector lense, along with all the other pieces and this is how it turned out. Also used a silicone product to seal it back up. The filter in the back of the housing was fine there was no debris in it at all. thanks for your imput guys and heres just a picture of how it turned out

They look great and you got a chance to clean them. Like brand new all over again!
