I'm starting to read/research more about the different engine options out there. My question is what are the main parts that would needed to be replaced from a JDM to a USDM spec 2jz motor when swapping. Would swapping a JDM 2jz into a once USDM sc3 be all needed?

are you wanting a newer, non-turbo motor, or are you planning on boost as part of the swap?

 

Short term just swapping for the same 2jzge vvti. I see JDM 2jzge vvti's. Then def. want to rebuild old one, learn stuff on it, turbo, idk yet. Don't have cash for that right now, but in the future plans for sure. So what parts need to be changed on a 2jzge vvti jdm to be usdm. Thanks man
