I've heard DDM Tuning's recent HID kits have gone down in quality. Personaly, I would go with HIDextra. I have a set of 6000k's from them and they look great.

i've bought 5 or 6 kits from DDM for my motorcycles and previous cars and been very satisfied with the 55w kits. Only until recently when I installed a 55w kit on my sc have I had a small issue. when turning on the headlights after or before starting the car, it flickers on turn off even with the headlight **** turned to on. I'd have to try a few times til it works. Now once I get the headlights on, I keep them on after shutting off the engine. The car apparently has an auto on/off feature when u start/turn on the car with the headlight switch already on. So i just leave my headlight switch on at all times and they shut off or turn on with the car off or on automatically with no problems. Anyone have this issue and know why? Btw - its a 92 sc300.

I was wondering the same thing, I actually thought about making a thread like this a couple days ago funny enough, as I'll be ordering a kit from DDM as well. The idea was run the low beams (6k) & foglights (3k), as my high beams give off great light.

But I have a question, don't mean to jack the thread but I have yellow caps from an ES and was wondering if they'd still work with the caps. As well as what would be the best beat in ordering this kit?

What happened to their slim ballast ones? That were in a black housing? I planned on ordering some of those but they're not one the site anymore.

surprised that there is not more people slamming DDM, haha. I have had good luck with them and have had two kits for over a year now. I went with the 6000k low beams and they are a little too blue for me, I should have gone a shade lighter 5000k

I've got DDM Slim - 6k 55W in both my low beam and my fog lights.

Fog Lights are completely custom, do not expect them to just be plug and play into the stock connector. I went the full distance and soldered the harness to the stock harness so it's a plug and play into the stock connector.

My low beams, the polarity was backwards. I had to flip them around, no big deal.

Zero Issues, No HARNESS. If you have issues with your head lights, you've got issues else where.

I HIGHLY recommend the 5k though if you want pure white.
