I would like to give you major props for actually taking the time to do maintenance on the car. So...props to you! Love the steering wheel, wheels look good to me. I have saleens on my car and I see nothing wrong with non Lexus wheels on a early 90's Lexus.
I say great job on it all. I like it nice build on a budget, just need a nice little drop. Like the calipers also and think I will do mine until I upgrade to the LS400 units, as the upgrade is not all that cheap when you have to buy the Caliper, brake pads, and rotors. So it not cheap, but it is an affordable upgrade, but yours look really nice.
O ya I would look into doing the Steel brake lines for now, it seems to be a very affordable upgrade that helps with the braking and pedal feel.
I don't like the Nissan rims on a Toyota.
I don't like the painted brake calipers because the LS400 calipers are so inexpensive.
I don't like the wood grain kit.
I don't like the painted tails.
on the door sills, I picked up a set of GS400 front sills and removed the metal inserts from them. Used 3M double sided tape to attach them to my sills. They sit up a bout an 1/8" inch but look pretty decent. Tried using a dremel to cut the original sills so I could set the inserts flush but didn't work too well for me. YMMV
Thanks for all the positive comments folks. I really enjoy doing stuff like this. Kids will all be grown and moved out in about 5 years, then I get my garage back and do bigger projects just for fun. Looking forward to buying cars and fixing them up and reselling them as a hobby.
