especially when he's only had his car for 2 weeks. That's not a real test. And he's in Colorado. The amount of snow on the road can cause a few mpg difference.

ive read about people using it to increase fuel economy before and ive also heard of many people using it to reduce emissions and pass inspection etc. etc.

like previous posters have said im not sure of its effects of a fuel system like ours that is over 10 years old. id probably trust using it in a vehicle that accepts ethanol more so than ours though since the fuel system is further designed against corrosion.

I'm gonna try it within the next two weeks, what the hell. I own a 1992 Lexus SC300 with crap gas mileage imo. I will document it all & pics. I will speak the truth.

i do the same with my cars. it does wonders in my honda i was able to get 40+ish mpg. i never recorded the results in the lexxy tho. i used to measure it to the ounce but with my civic i dont realy care if **** breaks so i just pour it in from the can like half a cup. ive heard of people doing this with muscle cars back in the day with no cats to pass emissions.

i may have to try this since i have failed emissions 8 times now. I got a few free passes in loveland because there equiptment gave reading that was considered questionable. my HC when it was its closest was at 1.6 and I have tried it all but this acetone idea.
I think this is BS. Acetone is going to deteriorate the injectors and rubber rings. I would stick with straight pump gas and mix in some fuel injector cleaner every once in a while.
