HIDs 6000k vs 8000k
hmm, i'll put it this way. I had 6000k for 2 years and i bought my girlfriend 5000k for christmas and oh man a LOT brighter and looks a lot cleaner. I bought 5000k bulbs, plus my friends also converted from 6000k to 5000k.
4300 are best, but not too "fashionable" as they are vanilla color, but 5k is really the most you should go and still get a safe amount of light output. I took my 4300 out and put 5000 in and lost about 20% total light output to go from vanilla to crystal white. It really is hardly worth it IMO, I might actually take the 5000 out and go back to the 4300 and sell the 5000 with only 20 minutes of use on them. Dunno yet.
I been running 6K's for as long as I know(cars, trucks, bikes), but Im gonna give the 5K a shot and see whats-da-deal-ie-o
I've been dealing with them for over 4 years and have no complaints except they can't stock enough 55w kits :O)
Looking at the lights dead on they look similar
but when you look at them from the side you can see the difference in color
Headlights: DDMTuning 8k 55w
Cornering lights (modded to fogs): V-Led's 6k led bulbs
