when i take my headlight assemblies apart should i paint them black or leave them with their reflective mirror finish?

 

Paint them black or at least paint that chrome plate underneath the projector black. With my HIDs, that reflective chrome piece creates a halo of glare above the cut off. I should have painted it while the headlights were open .

 

is it possible to paint my high beams black and turn signal lights also and how does this affect the brightness all the lights?

 

what color is your car first of all??, cuz I would only do the low beam housing if I had a dark color car, thats my 2cnts.... I woudn't suggest to paint the high beams because those are not projectors like the low beams, they are regular reflectors which actually use the housing for focusing purposes, if you paint them black you will basically ruin them.. lex400sc correct me if Im wrong since you are the master of lighning issues here

I was thinking of doing the same thing. Do you know how well they hold paint or should I use a different type of paint.
