Default emblems

I have a question about the emblems. I have an jade green sc400 rite now with thte gold emblems. I wanted to change to the black pearl emblems, but johnson lexus does not have them. Do they produce black peral ones for the sc400. If so, where can i get them? They quoted me 428 dollars to change from gold to the chrome ones. THat is outrageous. Anyone know aobut the pearl ones or a cheaper place for the chrome ones? thanks

Default 2 things...

1. Check Ebay for the badges. Im sure you will find something.

2. I talked with parts tech at Orlando Lexus and he said that Lexus has temporarily STOPPED making the black pearl emblems cuz the coating chips very easily. Mind you, this is only hearsay, but I would ask around before putting on the black pearl emblems. Too bad tho, cuz they do look sweet!

Call Steve Ganz, and he will have them custom dipped for you. 1-800-90-TOYOTA.

Another way, the new SC430 has black chrome I believe, which means you can take the Lexus logo from the front and back, the SC, which is seperated from the 430, and find a GS400's 400 wordmark in black chrome. This makes a factory coated set, but if what sportythief79 says is true, if might be more economical to buy them off Steve Ganz.

And I could have sworn I saw SC300 tags in black chrome in a display case at Keyes Lexus once. It's not there anymore, but I saw it!
