SC400 vs Supra interchangeable parts.

SC400 vs Supra interchangeable parts.
I made a list of comparable parts belonging to 1993 SC400 and 1993 Supra. The reason was that I read that the front LCA for the Supra's would fit the SC400. When I checked the parts numbers I could see that only the knuckles have the same. Is it common for a part to have 2 different numbers? Or is it that I compared 2 wrong model years?
