Default lexus tps sensor interchangeability???

Hey guys.. just a quick question.. will the tps sensor from a 92-ish es300 work on an 92 sc400?? I know the clip/plug are the same.. and it looks the same size.. I just don't wanna buy it and be s.o.l on it. if anyone knows or has a difinative answer lemme know. And the reason I ask is the local auto wrecker has a crap load of es300's and I can source parts for cheap.

on that note, how about the gauge cluster?? looks about the same from the outside, do these swap?

on that note, I have found a few web sites that actually list this part as the same part number.. So I think I'm gonna chance it and see if it works.

So took the dive... bought a tps off of an es300 and it works perfectly . Hopefully that helps anyone else who wants to save a few bucks.

mm.. I'll have to find the sites again, I didn't save the link. what is useful about this info to me is cause 1, no auto parts dealer or even the lexus dealer could confirm if the parts were infact the same or would work even though they all had different part numbers. a new tps sensor is 150 locally, but my local junk yards are full of es300's and random toyotas. And for 20 bucks I actually ended up with 2 tps's.. both off of different year es300's and they both work.. I don't know anyone that can't use an extra 130 bucks.. So hopefully it's useful info if you have a faulty tps and a local junk yard.
