A 400 will make even the crappiest exhaust sound good

Most of the exhaust I've heard on the 300 sounds raspy or unrefined, except maybe the Blitz or the Tanabe. But what sounds good to one person may be unacceptable for another.

The Top speeds sound very similar to the Tanabes. It is a very mellow tone..

I will take a good video tomorrow...now that I finally got 720p

Put this on my 97 SC 300 today. Fitment was good and it sounds very nice to be honest. Already got several compliments the first day having it. Very deep tone but not loud. I think its a very good choice for 300 owners.

Axle back looks good and sounds good on youtube. Hopefully, I get the same impressions in person. Anyone know if this is a replica of Tanabe's axel back?

From what i've heard their knock off Tanabe's and the best bang for the buck! It's a straight bolt on job too should only take 30-45mins! I plan on getting these real soon!

So I've been looking to get this exhaust, and I can't find it anywhere.

While I was searching here on CL I came across a fairly recent thread that had a link to where you can get this exhaust, but I didn't bookmark it and now I can't find it again...

This is all I can find that looks similar on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lexus-92-00-...item415ecf5774

Is that the one?

Also, I want my exhaust to be fairly loud, so will getting rid of the resonators do much good? I'm thinking 2.5" piping from the Cat-Back to the mufflers? Anybody do this with the topspeed?

I appreciate any info on where to get the mufflers, or on the piping/ resonators question. Thanks!

^^ never mind. I just realized the internet has this handy thing called 'Google', and it turns out TopSpeed has a website you can order their products from.

Epic face palm on that part. Still, if anyone can chime in on how the sound will be effected if I do 2.5" pipe from cat back to mufflers, that would be appreciated

These TopSpeed stainless steel axle back mufflers sound fantastic for those who just want a little bit of noise and chrome out back.

Tanabe wants $600+
TopSpeed wants $270 (visit their website http://www.topspeedauto.com)
Megan wants $300+
5zigen wants $899+shipping lol
