My 5speed 93 sc300 is finally ready but now it wont pass smog! I had the distributor adjusted and I figured that would fix the problem but now the guys are telling me I just need a tune up.. New spark plugs, spark plug wires, and distributor cap and I should be good to go they said. I am going to change the air filter and fuel filter as well.. I was looking and the distributor cap isnt going to be a problem. I think it might be a little time consuming to change the plugs and plug wires? any info or quick easy way to change the plugs and wires? thanks guys

 

Plugs arent hard to change out on these cars.

What did it actually FAIL? Emissions? Visual? Functional?

From what I read, it failed HCs cause they're telling you to replace plugs, wires tuneup..

If it failed CO or NOxs it could be something else. CAn you be more specific? What emission?

 

show the print out they gave you, that would help

 

replace the oil.
