Hey guys im new and i dont own a lexus but i have some questions for yall . OK i want a SC300 but i dont want to spend alot of money . somewhere around 12K would be cool . Am i on crack , or could i find one for that price? Does anyone know of one for sale ? I would really like one cause i think they are nice cars and after i finish building up a 7m or 1jz for my supra i wouldnt mind throwing in a 2JZ in an SC300 . But hey , im just a college kid with dreams . Anyhow i hope to learn alot and hopefully pick me up one . Thanks guys!

 

Should be pretty easy to find an SC300 for $12,000. Look for an early model with high miles. 5-speeds are hard to find to begin with, but most people selling don't realize that they are worth more than automatics.

 

my 95 sc300 was bout $13,000 and it only had around 34k miles when i got it almost exactly a year ago. too bad it's auto

 

Picked up my 92 SC300 5-speed 10 days ago for $5,000. It has 150,000 miles on it and drives perfect. Body is in very good shape and interior is in great condition. So there is hope for you!

The sc300 has a 2JZ-GE in it stock. You mean the GTE right?

 

Search for a little before settling for a car.... old fashion newspaper got me my 93 SC300 Stick 39K miles fully loaded mint condition (2 small scratches) with aftermarket rims (he gave me the stock rims as well) and PIAA fog already install. The owner owned five cars and never drive in snow. All for $14500 less than 2 months ago. With 12K pretty sure you can get a good one.
