to the older man i met in the Nittany Mall parking lot on Nov.20
So last night i can out to my car and saw an older gentlemen crouched down looking at my rear bumper and overfender. My first instinct was "ah damn it, he backed into me" as i approach him i put a smile on my face and ask how hes doing and if i could help him with something (stranded WTF you doing question)
he then smiled back and said "Nice SC, you dont see many of these anymore, does it have the v8 or the inline 6 in it? "
i was so taken back that he know what our cars were i stood there with a dumb look on my face for a good 5 sec untill my wife nudged me to respond.
I proceeded to tell him about my car, and what changes i had made to it. then i told him about the motor, supercharger and manual set up i had sitting in the garage. He then told me he had an SC300 as well. I asked him if he had any thing done to it and if so what? He told me he had some "plans" the best part was i told him about clublexus, turns out hes already a member
so buddy, where you at?
i love our cars, every where i go, other SC drivers wave and you instantly feel a sense of connection.

haha nice story man.
i had an encounter like that a few months ago. i was getting my exhaust fixed at a local muffler shop and the owner came out and said nice sc man, is it an auto or a 5 speed? i was like ughh wat, ohh yea its a 5 speed, the owner said that that he had a 99 sc400 and absolutely loved it. so while the worker was welding my exhaust back on me and the owner were talking about our sc's lol

Something similar happened to me once with a border patrol agent.
Him: "Hey nice SC man does it have a supra motor?"
Me: "No its a straight six"
After I left I thought about what I said and felt like a dumbass...then I realized, well...he didnt correct it or catch my mistake so HA! lol

Yup! Same sorta situation happened to me recently. I was at a car stereo shop picking up parts for my carPC and the guy helping me said to the shop manager "hey this guys got an SC too". He came out and looked at it and we ended up chatting about them for half an hour!
He had a beige '95 which I purposely parked next to lol

Doesn't it feel good?
A few months ago I went for an oil change. While I was inside paying I saw a guy walking around the rear of my car. Then next thing you know he's on his hands and knees with his *** up in the air looking all under my car. He had seen the 5zigen mufflers and was wondering what kinda piping I had done. Didn't know much about the car but he was pleased how clean it was.

Similiar thing happened to me with this late to middle aged man at the grocery store. I got out of my car and said "nice mercedes" he said "thanks man, is that your lexus?" I replied yes and he said "those cars love boost" I was so taken back by it I just walked away speechless. He must have thought I was a snob lol

I was sitting in my car with my girlfriend watching autocross once and an older guy walked towards us and came up on the passenger side. He walked around the back side and then to me in the drivers seat and said "I just wanted to tell you that you have a clean looking car there. I've wanted one ever since they came out and just never have gotten one. I had to walk around the back and see if it was the 300 or 400."
Another time I was eating at a deli with a buddy and he says "hey, there's a guy outside walking around your car." I got kind of nervous and went over to the window to see who it was. An older guy was looking to see how straight the body was and checking out my wheels. By the time I stepped out the door to say hi, he had walked off.
Definitely flattering though.
