Default Added some SC430 wheels

I did more than just add the wheels, installed a new rack and pinion, brakes. But my get was to add the SC430 wheels with some 25mm spacers. The wheel will not fit without spacers, it will rub on the calipers.

SC430 wheels installed on SC400

I set my front dampers on the Tein FlexZ’s at “12” and the rears at “8” as was suggested. The advice from the speed shop suggesting this set up appears pretty spot on so far. Only concern I had was if the fronts would be too bouncy but the rears set at “8” seem to hold or stabilize the car. I’ll know more after I drive the car over the next week or so. The only issue I need is a small adjustment in ride height in front due to 225x40x18’s to 225x45x18. I think about a 1/2” will work. My inner fender liner on front driver side may need replacing or I may try trimming it back some, I don’t know. The rears are set perfectly. Any ideas on inner fender wheel liner issues would be appreciated.

Glad to hear it is close to what you want.

I was talked into 235x35 for the fronts which worked well.... (but I am on 19s)

Here is what I ended up with ... Stops set to avoid fender rub...

Did you paint your chrome window trim? I have mine wrapped black and it’s peeling off. I was thinking of painting the trim, if it’s possible.

It is wrapped. The "artist" is well known on the West Coast plus the car (now especially) spends the majority of the time in the garage out of the elements.

Default loved it

Oil and filter changed, mechanic said drive belt was showing signs of wear but nothing to worry about for a while. Put the sunroof back and took it down two lane winding blacktop. No radio or CD's....that sound it makes is all the music I need.

Cool

Met up with fellow SC & Soarer owners in west end of Toronto, then did a cruise of the Niagara area with a few others.
