I purchased this kit: http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DD...ast-35W-or-55W
With the following options:
Wattage: 35w
Bulb Type: 9006 / 9012
Bulb Color: Ultra 4500k
I chose 35w because I don't want to harm the projector housing.
I chose 4500k because I want white light, not blue or purple. Contrary to popular belief, the higher in the spectrum you go, the less bright the light becomes.
One note, I had to reverse the polarity coming into the ballast using the adapter cable that came bundled with the actual bulb. Very easy task, no cutting or splicing.
All I have is the attached short video. The headlights have warmed up completely and are MUCH brighter than the halogens.

Today I Decided I'm going to sell my 1992 SC300 MT
This is a great club - Club Lexus has helped me truly enjoy two SC's to the fullest. Today had a bite to it...I decided that I am going to sell my black 1992 SC300. I'm moving and the car can't come with. I want to thank everyone who's posted the great articles and reviews I've taken in over the years. This community of SC enthusiasts is one of the best! I know I will be crawling back to buy another one in a few years - I love the car.
The car is in Connecticut. It runs beautifully, has two sets of wheels (Blizzak - Supra wheels) and a bunch of other nice equipment including the 5 speed manual transmission matched to a short throw shifter
If anyone is interested please feel free to reach out to me.

You should post it in the Vehcle Classifieds section. I bet it will sell fast.

Installed a new intake boot (intake tubing to manifold coupler). The old one was dry rot and was allowing air to move past it.
Replaced the shift boot boot with a new black suede with red stitching.
New e-brake boot on the way.
Cleaned the interior out.
