Towed my bike to a salvage inspection today. First time towing with the SC. It handled the job very well. Trailer is a harbor freight 4x8 folding model, and I'd definitely recommend it. Everything including the Curt hitch, ball, trailer wiring harness and install from a trailer shop, tie down hooks, ratchet straps, wood, hardware, motorcycle chock, and ramps cost me about $650. I do regret getting 2x10 wood for the sides/ramps. I should have gotten 2x12 as an extra 2 inches for the ramps would really come in handy when offloading. I found that out when I was walking the bike off backwards for the first time today. Long story short, don't buy a motorcycle with a rebuilt title!
Got my water pump, timing belt, caps and rotors, spark plugs and wires, thermostat, fluid change and installed my new drive shaft. 16 hours spent with friends…… PRICELESS!!
