Default High Mount Stop Light

Hey, so I just replaced both high mount stop lights on my 95 sc300 with the 921LL bulbs. And it still doesn't turn on when I step on the brakes. Anyone know what the problem is and how I can fix it? Thanks!

I checked the wires and connections, everything's fine. I don't have a multimeter at the moment so I can't check the current or voltage :\ Is this an uncommon problem, cause I can't find any thing via search and google related to this.

I don't use that light either, I unplugged it after installing my spoiler. If you have a spoiler you should be alright cuz it has a LED third brake light

a multimeter or test light is going to be the only way to track the issue. Harborfreight has some for $5, and it comes in very handy for minor issues like this.
