Default Changing caliper HELP

I am in process of changing my front left caliper. Everything except the brake line is still connected to the old caliper. do i just unbolt that line and let the fluid drop into something.....then replace with the new caliper?

I dont know as far as the whole "bleeding"

use a small vise grip to clamp the line, then pull the bolt that connects the line to the caliper so that it doesnt leak all the fluid. its better if you have another person to help you bleed. three pumps on the pedal, then hold, then open the bleed nipple on the caliper until you see a solid stream of fluid coming out.

I wouldn't use a vise grip on the brake line. It will most likely damage it. Even if you use a plastic one. Just keep it raised up.

Yes you unhook the line and let the fluid drip into a bottle. Heads up I'd wear gloves since brace fluid tends to give a burning sensation. The bleeding part comes later. And involves having someone pump the brake pedal.
