Nice...it looks like on the intake tube side, it's pretty close (but it's hard to tell...) About how much clearance would you say there is there?

On the intake manifold side, it looks like you have at LEAST a 1/4" of clearance...

What about the center? Just a measurement is fine...I don't need a picture (but if you already have one...)

Do they make the CF STB for the rear? I've never been able to get a straight answer on that one...I've heard mostly NO...

On the intake side I believe it actually touches the rubber. On the Intake manifold side yeah prolly 1/4" clearance give or take a little, lol

From what I can tell Cusco does not make any rear strut bars for the JZZ30/SC Chassis. Thats at least what the Cusco Japan Catalog says.

Heres a few pics (might be easier to tell) for the middle of the bar.

Cool, thanks a lot for the pictures!

On the side that rubs a little, you might want to put something there. Since the engine moves around a bit, it will start to rub and will eventually go through the top coat on the CF...just FYI.

I wonder how that fits on a 1UZ-FE...

For cusco parts me and my friends order from cyberauto.com. They do container orders so sometimes parts don't arrive for months but I do know they can pretty much get hard to get parts you just have to send them an e mail and ask.

Everything I've ordered so far has only taken 3-4 weeks to get here. So I'm not complaining, hehe.

Hey, do you have a picture of the floor support bars installed?

How about a bottom picture (looking up) of the ladder bar?

Thanks! I think I'm going to have to get some of these...

manaray: Heheh, I'll get pics of the floor support bars soon, I'm thinking to get a good pic i'll have to get it on the lift; just dont think the floor jack will get up high enough to see whats going on under there. (I'll give the floor jack shot try today)

Hehe, Hopefully I'll make it to one of the Colorado Meets sometime, lol. Handling/Braking is only one thing I'm doing (I guess i should call this stage one, lol) Powertrain/Drivetrain are up next,

We can always test fit the bar on the 400 whenever, I can always get more depending on the interest on them.

I'm interested to see if it all works ok on the 400...does it say that it's compatible with the UZZ30 Soarer or 4.0GT (that's the SC400 to us)...

manaray: Sorry for the late reply, im lazy ill admit it, The cusco website doesn't say much of anything, lol Just says JZZ30 chassis code and lists three types of strut bars.

Ohh and I haven't forgotten about getting those floor support bar pics either, waiting till i can get access to the lifts at school.

Question "Ladder Bars"? "Floor Support Bars"?

Shows you how little I know- I am familiar with what strut tower bars do, but what do "Ladder Bars" and "Floor Support Bars" do?

And in your pic, what is the Ladder Bar bolted to?

I shop at Costco a lot, but I've never seen those things- are they in the Automotive section, or the separate Tires store?

The Floor Support Bars and Rear Ladder bar add more stability and a more rigid chassis.

The rear ladder bar is bolted the "tow hooks" i dunno what they are called next to the mufflers. Once it bolts up you just preload the bar.

As far as shopping at CostCo, I wish you best of luck, thats like shopping at Pepboys; you won't find it.
