Default Transmission cooler

Anyone did it before? I have a tranny cooler that I got long time ago and I want to install it. Anyone know how to install it?

Default Why?

Isn't the tranny fluid cooler immersed within the radiator doing enough cooling?

Are you towing something heavy?

Generally an additional tranny cooler is a good idea. The major reason for tranny failure is because of cooling fluid brakedown. If you do a lot of racing or if you just drive like a crazy maniac it's a good idea to do this.

There are manny choices for tranny coolers, but they are almost all the same with variation in price. TRD is rether expencive and the cheapest one is the B&M.

The stock tranny cooler runs along the bottom part of the radiator. Most people connect the new tranny cooler to the existing stock cooler and others just bypass it. I am not sure what I will do, but I think I'll just splice the new cooler in.
