Im curious why would you want to do that? I guess for the sleeker look? But my mirror being able to fold has saved it many times.

it would be cheaper to just buy a Replacement.
plus why would u want to lose the fuctionality of a folding mirror? u never know when u might need to fold them in to get into a tight narrow spot. u know how many people wish they had folding mirrors?!

It couldnt be cheaper because i did both of them for free. I dont park close enough to anything with this car to need to fold them in because that would be stupid. I have never folded them in. Plus they just look better now.

I don't either, but that doesn't mean some bimbo in an Escalade will, too.
can't tell you how many times I have come out and had a mirror popped forward, or backward.

and no cars anywhere near me...

It wouldn't have been an option for me. Replace with OEM. The functionality far outweighs any aesthetic style you think you gained.
