the selection is not as large as 5x114.3...

as stated above only cars that i can think of that runs that is celicas, tc's, and some subaru's... other randoms are like pt cruisers, i think new corollas.

definitely wheels that are not wide enough for SC's

did you buy your wheels used?? they could have been re-drilled.

do you have a spare tire?? try putting that on if it fits your car is 5x114 assuming that you dont have spacer adapters on.

Hell no, 5x100 is a nightmare, good luck finding good size wheels with agressive offset. I've been on this boat when I had my celica.

It's not 5x100, my old set of Weds had 5x100 stamped inside, but in fact they were 5x114.3

idk how many months i spent on nasioc. The wheels are either too narrow, +58 offset, or 5x114.3. It was a miracle I found my 5x100 wheels at all.

It's normal for aftermarket wheels to say 5x100 on the back and actually be 5x114.3. Your sc400 is 5x114.3 Guaranteed.

Maybe the OP just had a wheel with the wrong size hubcentric ring installed and that's why he thought a 5x114.3 wouldn't fit !??!

5x100 subaru wrx aswell

some jap wheel brands have posted of their websites that there are heaps of fakes going around that look so close to the genuine ones.

look on there sites for the photo differences between the fakes and real.

good2go
hubcentric rings are used for non genuine wheels that have the centrebore larger than standard

Yes, I'm fully aware of what they are; though I'm not sure of what you meant by non genuine...I have genuine Volks with spacers , so I'm guessing you meant non-original equipment. Anyway, I was merely trying to explain another possibility of why the OP could have been correct when he claimed "i tried putting 5x114.3 on my car and they would not fit". He could have had the right sized bolt pattern, but the wrong (too small) of a ring, causing it to not fit.
