I got a 95 sc300 and when i turn the a/c on it will stay on for 3-8 seconds then shut off.But when it shuts off the a/c light starts flashing.I did a a/c diagnostic check and it pulled up a code 21.(checked in daylight)So i replaced the solar sensor and the code went away.But it didn't do anything other than get rid of the code.A/C is charged.Has right amount of pressure.Belt isn't slipping.
I goggled it and it seems a lot of other people have the same problem.
I hope this is a easy fix.

 

checked the magnetic clutch relay.its fine.

 

maybe the expansion valve is failing??

 

where is that located?i really dont that much about a/c systems.
