Default 1995 Lexus SC400, a few things not working.

I have a 1995 Lexus SC400. The previous owner replaced cracked tan leather interior with parts from a 1999 SC400 with black perforated leather interior. It has a five-speed auto gated shifter but a four-speed auto transmission. That works just fine, he wired it up so that the OD is OD, 4 is D3, 3 is D2 and 2 is L.

At some point the previous owner swapped this car to a manual transmission out of a Tacoma using a custom bell housing adapter and then swapped it back.

Since I bought the car a the cruise control and the power mirrors have never worked.

When I hit the cruise on/off button the cruise light blinks in the cluster. The car has a third pedal for the clutch that is no longer there. I have tried putting the pedal all the way in and all the way out and it has no effect. Either way the cruise light blinks when I try to activate the cruise control.

The power mirrors have never worked. Could this be some kind of issue with the 1/2 memory buttons? The power seats work fine, memory function and all. Did these cars have the 1/2 memory feature in 1995?

Where should I start looking?

The mirrors I don't care about so much, but I would love to have working cruise control.

is all of the cruise control stuff in the engine bay? I'd check with that . its probably in the wiring. Sounds like the car has gotten around.
