i have both a GS and SC and they are both great. GS for daily, SC for the track. to be honest i have no idea why you need that many cars seems like a bit much for me if youre talking about whats economically right

Clean Legends! I had one before I got my GS400. In fact I love it so much that I got another one in the family I'm emotionally attached to the Legend more so than my GS. Been a member on acura-legend.com but haven't visited that site in so long since it's somewhat dead.
BTW, the GS shake you had is due to the caster arm bushings. It's a known problem so most people either source 01+ lower control arms (they're beefier) or go with aftermarket polyurethane bushings like the Daizen.

you have no idea how emotionally attached I am to my legend...It's the ONLY car I've ever owned that I've actually cried over. Those who know me know I'm very tough and not much phases me. The Legend when she was sick actually made me lose sleep. She's been a great DD as of the past year and I'd love to see it continue. A beautiful pearl white SC400/GS430 would compliment my stable very nicely...
as for 5 cars for a married guy with no kids..what can I say....I like to switch it up and as long as I can afford it, I'm gonna do it

Going back to the main intent on the thread. The answer is, "no". That's not really a great price I just purchased a diamond white SC300 98 with 76k miles on her for 8,700) and I'd also hold out on a later model because 98' SCxxx got the revamped engine and the bigger brakes, gated shifter, and 3 spoke steering wheel (99-00). I'm a fan of the 98' tails and tiny "grill". The SC is timeless in looks. Last week I just had mine maint. at the dealer. I was loaned a 2010 hard top IS350....though she was a beast in "Matador Red" I just couldn't get into the Mickey mouse looking styin'. Even when my SC drove up I was like, "Wow" that's a car! The SC's were designed in good ole California. It was a long running design and a keep to get attached to.

This is a tough choice. Having that many cars I wouldn't buy one. Insurance must be insanely high on all of those. If you buy a SC just keep it forever. That's what alot of us are doing. I do know that the legend had tons of problems with their paint, A/C, and their blown head gaskets. Good luck in whatever decision you make.
