That could go either way.

The CD could be in all PDF format and take a half an hour to load, find, and print a single page. End up being a poorly done scan of the pages. etc..

Or it could be a well indexed, thorough, and very professional database with nice layout and interface. However, for $30 I doubt that.

Maybe someone else has tried these.

It might be a Popular Mechanics edition that went out of print a few years ago - I knew a guy who had the manual for a '94 SC4, he said it was pretty good, but I have read elsewhere that the Pop. Mech. CD in no way compares to the factory books. Plus since it has been out of print this may be a burned copy (note no picture of the product in the ebay ad) and violates copyrights...

The guy I met who had the CD said he bought it for $19 at Pep Boys some years back.

That looks very interesting for 30 bucks, I might order one... but I asked the person who is selling them if he can send me screen shots or a sample of the product. If he gets back to me I will repost on here.

I saw that auction and it looks really interesting. I sent an E-Mail to the seller asking what format the program is in. He told me it was in PDF. Why is PDF so bad? Isnt it Acrobat Reader? Well, I checked and all of my PDF files work perfectly, so I dont get why you guys think that PDF is slow. Buying the CD for $30 beats buying all three volumes of the manual for $200. So, am I wrong about PDF, because I dont want something that will take 30 minutes to load each page. If anyone knows anything about this please let me know so that I dont blow $30 on crap. THANKS

PDF is one of the better formats out there I think what someone was saying is that if it is just all messy it takes a very long time to sort through the pages (over 1500 pages for our cars). If it is indexed well then it is a great deal, just click and it will go to that page. It just depends on how it is done. I think 30 bucks is worth it, I am still considering getting one, I asked the seller to email me a screenshot, he never did, hmmm... even after I gave him directions on how to. Ebay is a very scetchy marketplace where all I can emfisize is buyer beware.
