Car feels like it has a rev limiter on it..wtf.. yesterday it ran perfect.. it revs to 2000 than drops and so on.. it will rev past it and when it does i can keep it up there but once the rpms come down it does the same thing.. i have been up all nite tryn to figure it out.. iv read bout every thread and noone has a clear answer.. i unpluged it and started the cara and it did the same thing but sounded a little worst.. i dont like to just p!ss money away so before i do anything i hope some1 can help me.. so you have a 1jz swap?

we need more info about your car and what all is done to it.

yes its is a swap.. pretty much stock.. 5sp.. ran perfect all summer.. it wants to go but then it falls on its face then goes and might drive for a sec than it repeats the cycle when i let off the gas and slow down.. i have no clue it is the map sensor just kind of think it bc of what iv read.. i found a 1994 gs300 one at the junkyard but i dont know if it will work.. what u thinkn bro??

does your check engine light function? is it throwing any codes?

i would start by checking all your vaccum lines for any leaks.
