thanks everyone for the positive remarks! Id seen other scenes do stuff like this, like the rat rod and chopper guys. and the honda guys when done right have some artistic engine bays. Ive never seen a sc "artistic" bay before so I though why not. I'll definitely post more pics when done.

I think it looks really interesting. Adds just enough interest to the bay to catch your eye. Just don't go crazy doing everything under the hood and I think it will be a pretty sweet mod.

As a fellow artist I appreciate this a lot! It looks good even with the swirl deisgn. I think of you could incorperate the tradtional Japanese cloud art into it somehow it would make it "MAD TYTE JDMer" lol. but to each his own on the designs! I wish I could see it irl or help etch!

im a little iffy about it, but it's only a start of an idea.

Maybe go a step further and spice up the intake manifold to match

I'm a little torn on the intake manifold right now. Im not sure if it would be too much at that point. especially because im doing charge pipes and intake pipes still. the other valve cover should be done today and I can bolt both of them back on and take another pic. thanks everyone.
