Can anyone explain how this works? Does it increase fuel consumption? This is new to me. ThanksOriginally Posted by NineTreSc3
Fuel pump ecu by the back seats behind the rear left paneling. clip the red and green wires and connect them together. causes fuel pump to be on full pressure at all times. didnt notice any worse gas mileage just increased power. Simple but strange it made a big difference.

I would like to know more too. It was not done as a mod just to bypass ecu but my sc was very fast compared to others I have driven. BFI definately made a huge difference also. Had alot of weight reduction too. I am thinking it had to do with the combination of it all. Mustang GT's honestly had no chance. Maybe right off the line a bit but the highway roll was rediculous. Nothing less than a corvette or cobra could really mess with me. A full tank of premium shell gas always seemed to help Originally Posted by okbobbo

hmm...this fuel pump thing sounds good and bad maybe? because if its on full pressure all the time wouldnt that mean more wear and tear?

^^The fuel pump mod is not for increasing your hp. Its purpose is to keep enough fuel in your lines to avoid leaning out only if you're making enough horsepower (using enough fuel) to max out the fuel pump.

It will cause more wear and tear on it, but it could be years and thousands of miles later. From what I hear, you probably won't have the car anymore by the time it happensOriginally Posted by kpkim01

But why risk it for no reward? Why do anything for no reward? Like OneJay said, it doesn't increase performance. The whole "logic" these people are using is that you get more fuel which gives you more power. Why would getting more fuel to an engine that already runs rich from the factory create more power???Originally Posted by Kira X

If you don't have an AFR gauge or a means of tuning fuel, the 12 volt mod should be at the end of your list to do. There's no gain with the 12 volt mod unless you have the means to manipulate it.

What size is the OEM TB? I got a Q45 90mm TB so maybe that'll be a nice addition if it's possible to make it fit. So bigger TB would be my suggestion.
