just wondering, but how do these affect drive-ability? Does it remove a lot of low-end power or torque? I know hp numbers up top are nice but what about down low is what I'm saying?

The difference is that now the car will feel faster and responds quicker at any and all RPM levels. Think as if Lexus released the car originally with an extra 20-25 horsepower, gave it just a slight deeper exhaust sound, faster shifting transmission and reduced the weight by about 250 pounds. Thats the difference you can expect from installing these headers on your car.
I am not blowing smoke, i am not using it as a marketing tool, its truly what it feels like. I owned a 92 SC400 with these headers on it and i couldn't imagine going back to stock manifolds.
As for low end torque, it goes up, way up. Off the line it feels a lot more then a 20hp gain.
I'm fitting these headers to hopefully solve a fitment issue with other available headers.
I have a W58 manual conversion , and Rush headers wont fit , with out going to a hydraulic throwout.
IMF headers should hopefully solve this fitment issue.
I actually prefer 4 into 1 design as well rather than tri-y designs.
I have alot of experience in bike racing , and 4-1 designs are alot better for top end power , but don't seem to lose as much on the bottom as other designs.
It's true what ever you gain on the top end you lose from the bottom , but 4-1 design seem to lessen this to a degree. The scavenging effect is increased in 4 into one better than tri-y's collecting the wrong cylinders.
4 into one or flat plane crank , or hideously long primaries merging under the engine , simple really.
