Lightbulb Painting LS400 Caliper & Logo Process..

would like to know how you did it, btw yours turned out wonderful, also can you tell me exactly which set you went and bought on brakeperformance.com, the break upgrade is only for the front of the car right? thanks in advance
Whats up... The process is simple. First you have to decide what color you want your Lexus logo to be.

Here are the "tools/procedure" that you'll need:

1. A pack of "packing slip paper" from Walmart. Its a sheet of paper that has an adhesive back. Its basically a blank sticker the size of a sheet of paper.

2. A x-acto knife from Walmart or your local hobby shop.

3. Go to BRANDSOFTHEWORLD.COM and type in Lexus in the search field. Print the logo that you desire on the packing slip paper.

4. Buy 2 cans of caliper paint. 1 for the color of the logo. And the other for the overall color of the caliper.

5. Use the x-acto knife to cut out the logo- (take your time and be very precise.)

6. Make sure that your caliper is clean of all oils. Use brake parts cleaner to clean it up real nice.

7. Spray the whole caliper the color that you want the logo to be. You have to spray the whole caliper because you want it to have an even tone once your done. Let dry.

8. Once dried, peel the backing off the logo and stick it on the caliper.....

9. Spray the caliper with the other color and let dry. (I used 2 coats ). Make sure that its completely dried...

10. Slowly remove the logo and there you have it! Your custom "painted" rotors...

Let me know if you have any questions...

I bought the slotted and drilled set with black zinc coating on it. You'll be amazed once you get them.. A black rotor? Its SICK!!!!

I will have to remember this process. Thanks for sharing. Seems to be straight forward. Has anyone else done this, this way?
